Pilot #1001 Shanya Damerval Juneau, Alaska, USA
Birthdate: Beware the Ides of March!
She who must be obeyed! I started this VA with the help of some other people who are no longer around to bask in the glory, and I weild a mean priming crank handle to keep all of you lazy pilots in line and in the air. Keep out of my way and bringing in the revenue, and I probably won't leave a lump on your head on my way by. Probably.

In real life, I'm a Private Pilot with instrument rating, and an Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI) -- which means I teach people what they need to know to pass the written exam before they can become pilots. My real name is, in fact, Shawn -- In the past, I often used "Shanya" when online in an attempt to avoid inevitable confusion over my gender. And yes, it's true -- I married a PGA pilot. Mr. Boss and I were married in March 2001, having originally met through PGA. We have a son, Bernard ("Bear"), who was born in July 2002, and my son by a prior marriage, Cameron, who was born in July 1992.

Pilot #1007 Philippe "Mr. Boss" Damerval Juneau, Alaska, USA
Birthdate: March 21, 1969
Married to The Boss, I am the father of Bear (who appears to be the REAL Boss around the house). My interests include: Baby Bear, Mama Bear, Bear Cub, Flight simming, and sleep. There was another "S" word in there, but I've forgotten what that one is.

I am originally from France, although I have lived in the West Indies and in South Africa. Since everyone asks, I married The Boss because she was the first woman I met in America who could make a decent cup of coffee.

Pilot #1008 Skip Simpson Glen Allen, VA, USA
Birthdate: 1/22/54
Reading (SciFi, heroic fantasy, stories set in prehistoric times), tinkering with computers (i.e. Linux), fishing with my son, running (when my left knee isn't hurting too bad), flying FUIII. Years ago (1976/7)while in the marines and stationed at Millington, TN NAS I took a few flight lessons in a Cessna (until I started spending all my money on a girl). Big mistake. I should have stuck with the flight lessons.

Pilot #1039 Lukexcom Minnesota, USA
Birthdate: 13/01/85
There is only one Luke, and HAL is his assistant. All hail TOOTSD!

Pilot #1094 "Cap'n Dave" Spurlock
?
Birthdate: ?
What? You think I am going to tell you all about myself? Do I look like Dr. Phil or something? Get outta here and start flying!

Pilot #1148 Vernon Christie
Salina, Kansas, USA
Birthdate: 03-09-1955
Flight simming, camping, motorcycle touring.

Pilot #1160 Chardon Trimper
Adelaide/ South Australia
Birthdate: 25/10/86
G'day everyone. I'm Capn Chadza more commonly known as Chardon Trimper from Adelaide Australia. I am the second Aussie after Darby, who comes from Sydney I think. I am a Year 12 student in High School...last year to go and boy I can't wait for it to finish! I am 16 years old and just a few months ago got my Drivers licence (P plates...not full licence) so no more catching the bus for me!

Next year I hope to go onto University to do a 3 year course in Civil Aviation = at the end of it I will be an ATPL without a job!! At the moment I have done 10 hours real time but haven't gone solo yet, I got up to that standard but was too young when I did. Oh well such is life!

I have been with PGA for a bit over a year now and during that time have been based at San Jose, Seattle, Valdez and even a little place called Salina in Kansas. I used to own a Beech Duke until I didn't pay off the loan and the bank came and took it away from me. I hope to have my own plane in the pGA hangar very soon though!

See ya in the skies!

Chadza
