Welcome to PGA. You have found the home of the one of the best Virtual Airlines on the world wide web. PGA is great because it is unique.
"What makes it so unique?" you ask.
Several things actually. One is the fact that PGA roots lie in the Flight Unlimited series flight simulators. Even though most of our pilots PGA hahave moved onto other simulators, the Flight Unlimited series remains as its heart and soul. Flight Unlimited 2 and 3 define the base of our initial operating areas and our stable of aircraft. Some of our pilots use this series of flight simulators to this day.
Another way in which PGA is unique is its pilots. They are a fun-loving, irreverant group of pilots who despise authority and structure. Read through the PIREPS and see for yourself. Most other VA's are modeled after the real-world airlines. Some even bear their names. Real world airlines are highly structured, regulated stick-in-the-mud operations. And I guess they have to be to operate safely. But the goal of a virtual airline is not to be safe -- it's to have fun! So why model yourself after such boring organizations? We don't. Thus our uniqueness.
PGA is unique in another way as well. We use a Matrix Game as the driving mechanism for our virtual airline.
