Greetings all,
I have bought FS Pax, [thanks Avian]. Have set up my company [PGA] and set a few options and have just made by first flight. I think this is very good and along with FS Cargo would now certainly suit me for all operations at PGA.

I have one question and perhaps I have not read the full manual yet. I see on the FS Pax hone page many references to VAs and sending flight reports. I also see on the page a whole list [hundreds] of flight reports.

How do I send my report,? to who do I send it ?. Do we need to set something up for PGA on the FS Pax web page ? I think I am missing something here.

Do I remember Cap'n Geoff mentioning something about this?

Regards

Nice one! It's a great add on for sure, as for sending reports to a VA site, it would require a page being set up here especially for it, but as we already have a PIREP system I doubt it would really serve much purpose, you can send your flights into a general database from the drop down menu in the sim, but there are literally thousands on there and to be honest, it doesn't count for anything. Better to continue like you are, using it to log your flights (very useful for that as both time and distance are recorded!) and enhance the game generaly.

Right I found the 'send pirep' via the drop down menu and tried it and now have two reports on the 'VA Demo' on the FS Pax home page. As you say bit of a laugh but no real use. I will just continue to fly and keep my reports and build the company up.

As a side note I have made a JPG Logo from the PGA one here for my company logo on FS Pax. I have also downloaded some payload models for my thrid party aircraft.

I have also downloaded a 'Random Flight Generator' from the downloads at FS Pax. Great little thing, stand alone small utility, you type in your departure point and then it asks you for your minimum flight distance [you are prepared to fly] and your maximum flight distance [you are prepared to fly] and it will generate a destination airport and a random departure time.

Example I type:

KSJC
[Minimum distance] 50nm
[Maximum distance] 300nm

press return

It computes:

KSJC to KMMH
Direct Distance 147.99nm
Departure time 12:30

Because this is a stand alone utility you can use it with anything to compute a flight, its not tied to FS Pax. Maybe its something we might think of useing here ?

I'll have to check that little gadget out, sounds useful!

Just downloaded it, handy, the next version looks more useful as it seems it could discriminate between planes and the destinations suitability. Good find TOM!
