Farewell all for a few weeks. Am out the door heading for my trip to the sunny tropics and beyond. Stopping by Chadzas home town on the way to sample the local beer, hopefully will meet up. Now I want everybody on their worst behaviour while I'm gone, and prepare yourselves for a boring slide show when I return.

Oh no, not another Darby slide show! :hide3: ;-)

I just got back from a glorious two weeks in British Columbia, myself, for the tax-deductible purpose of several days of bellydance teacher training (towards certification). That was in Victoria, which is a great place to have to be, especially when it's 80 degrees and sunny and all the fruit is ripe. :-)

Once our brains were full and the class was over, two friends and I hopped in the 1999 VW Beetle I had purchased on eBay last month (and had picked up when I came through Seattle), and drove it up to Prince Rupert and onto the ferry which arrived in Juneau about five hours ago. Just over 1300 miles of driving put on the clock since picking it up. :whack:

It's amazing how much one of those Beetles will hold, though... looked like a clown car during the unloading because we just kept pulling more stuff out of it. :-)
